Leather For The Lost

A Yarden Bridge Prison Ministry

“He is the one who holds the whole building together and makes it grow into a sacred temple dedicated to the LORD.”
– Ephesians 2:21

Bibles That Speak. Truth That Holds.

Leather for the Lost is a ministry of Yarden Bridge dedicated to serving incarcerated men. Along with weekly Bible Study, we provide durable, giant-print NLT Bibles that are actually readable and carry weight in prison culture. These are more than just books, these Bibles represent dignity, hope, and a chance to engage with God’s word in a way the feels both personal and lasting.

Why It Matters

In our county jail, there are no programs, no classes, and little to offer men hope or direction. Conditions have even made the local news for how poor they are. Yet every week, men tell us how grateful they are simply because we show up. A gifted Bible in this setting isn’t just paper and ink, it’s often the only source of encouragement, dignity, and spiritual renewal they receive.
